Auckland Museum

On Domain Drive about a twenty-minute drive from the heart of Auckland, the museum celebrates New Zealand’s culture, military and history. Walking through this venue allows visitors better understand the story of this island nation.

Bike Tour

Visitors to Auckland can take bike tours of the city and the region. Prices are reasonable and extras are included such as electronic GPS devices. Bikes can be rented for long or short-term, excellent for independent touring and travel.

Devonport

A brief ferry ride is one of the best ways to reach Devonport, a historic village. The scenic town features beaches, historic homes, delightful shops, and restaurants of all types. Nearby, Mount Victoria a pathway up to a fabulous overlook.

Rangitoto Island

Only about 16 kilometres from downtown Auckland, this island is volcanic. The volcano erupted over six hundred years ago. A lovely day trip and place for amazing nature photography, visitors can swim and fish. Other popular activities are hiking, exploring and watching birds and other wildlife.

Sky Tower

Visitors can enjoy the views from the highest tower south of the equator. A great place to take pictures, people can have a leisurely lunch from the observation deck of this dominating landmark.
